Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz who was who was born within Winona Minnesota. Her parents, Winona Ryder's parents, gave her the name of her hometown. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into the Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Ryder is the youngest sister of Uria as well as half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder relocated with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There, they didn't have electricity. The books on television were the only way for Ryder for her time, and she began to read extensively. Ryder began taking classes in acting at the American Conservatory Theatre when she was 12 years old. Lucas was let go in 1986. Ryder, who was only 15, landed an acting job as a lead actor. Ryder was subject to bullying in highschool. She hoped acting would bring about a change. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. But that didn't stop her making plans for her future. In 1988 she had her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder played characters that made a splash in several movies. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her part on The Age of Innocence (1993).
