Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor director, producer, playwright and teacher of St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was the daughter of a British father and an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. Early on Anna appeared in a number of commercials for television. Anna moved to Toronto in November 1999 in order to continue her acting career. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years.
