NF
Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30, 1991) and known by his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American musician, rapper musician, songwriter and record producer. The artist has released two EPs under Capitol CMG, "I'm Free" (2012) and"[3as well as a self-titled EP in 2014. His first major-label album, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. His second studio album Therapy Session was released on April 22nd, 2016. It peaked at the number 12 in the US Billboard 200. His albums have been recognized by numerous awards. One of these is the Gospel Music Association Dove Award, Rap/Hip Hop Album Of The Year (Therapy Session). In 2017, Perception was a mainstream hit. It ranked at number 1 in the United States and was also certified platinum. When its third single "Let You Down" reached number 12 on U.S. charts, NF gained mainstream popularity in the year 2017. Billboard Hot 100 topped the charts across the globe and was a top 10 charting hit. The Search, his sequel to the album that became a hit, was also a commercial hit. Feuerstein said that rap was a form of escape in his youth. He would record songs on a karaoke machine, recording instrumentals on one microphone and rapping on the other. On November 29 2010 Feuerstein independently released his debut studio album Moments under his real name. On August 2, 2011 the singer released his debut single "Alone". Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the song's composers and producers. Xist Music came to Feuerstein’s work in 2012. Feuerstein debuted his expanded work I'm Free on May 2nd 2012 and was produced by Profitt. The album's tracklist contained nine tracks that included "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version with Sean Simmonds of "Alone". Xist teased that NF was coming out, but Feuerstein left the label over disagreements. NF production was postponed. But, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, in the label's compilation album, Move Vol 1. The single was released, "Beautiful Addiction", November 4 2013. The track again featured an appearance from Profitt along with the voices of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
